Edith Williams joined Spire’s predecessor, Lane Hospitality in December 2006.  Williams assumed the role of corporate benefits manager, and was responsible for companywide benefits and 401(k) administration for more than 2,000 associates.  Williams developed and implemented all new hire processes, annual open enrollment procedures, policy adaptations, new benefit plans and served on the acquisition task force.  Williams also launched a unique wellness and health management company-wide campaign. In 2013 she was awarded “Corporate Associate of the Year.”

In 2018, Williams was promoted to Director of Associate Development & Benefits Administration.  As the Director of Associate Development & Benefits Administration, she is responsible for planning and directing implementation and administration of the company’s benefits programs for more than 2,600 associates, 401(k) administration and the wellness program.  She is also responsible for proposed training and development programs and ensuring full compliance with brand training standards; trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in associate development efforts.

Prior to joining Spire, Williams administered corporate benefits programs including 401(k) and profit sharing for Omron Management Center of America, the global electronic components leader. She assisted with regulatory compliance and implemented the company's RX mail order program. Williams has a B.A. from Mundelein College and has received the Professional Human Resource designation from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Edith belongs to the Northwest Human Resources Council (local SHRM chapter), and is a member of the Association of Talent Development (AST).
